Summer Fun and Autumn Registration

Summer is sliding in and Firefly has celebrated the end of term with a fantastic range of performance, film and presentation. Thanks to all who contributed to The Fire Raisers and The Witches at Howden Park, Company LA for their Linlithgow performance of Snake Girl,  and participants from Company B and Fresh for a great evening programme back in May. Company 54 have been busy too, touring George’s Marvellous Medicine to Firefly’s Explorer groups and Pinewood school.

Our community and outreach projects have also been showcasing their work. The 4 Blackburn primary schools  gave a rousing performance of The Story of West Ranch at Blackburn Community Centre, and young people in Boghall shared an equally fantastic production of Invasion at Boghall Parish church. At Pinewood school students presented The Wind and the Sun, and students from both Pinewood and St Kentigern’s Academy provided great entertainment with  their Touring Chair Company.

Still some fun to go with Donaldson’s School’s performance Don’s Casino, The Big Shoot film project in Bathgate, and Firefly Production Company’s Women In Power at Howden Park/ National Festival of Youth Theatre in Glenrothes.

For those of you returning to workshops in the autumn, please note that some workshops have changed day/time. See below for information. Please ensure you contact Alison (08447 744496  admin@firefly-arts.co.uk), and have your registration form back with us by Wednesday 31st July. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee workshop places after this date.
